The rotation hydraulic dynamically ensures the stance phase on the basis of joint load alone. Users are therefore supported for many activities throughout the day, including the challenges of uneven ground and inclinations or descending stairs alternately. In contrast to other comparable prosthesis knee joints, the patented mechanism requires no switch time between the stance phase and swing phase modus. The speed-dependent hydraulic swing phase control provides flexion resistance throughout the entire range of motion of the knee. The 3R80 - the ideal knee for active people who require dynamic stability and dynamic function! An additional version of the knee joint, the 3R80=1, is also available for shorter above-knee amputees weighing 75 kg and less. It is specially adaptive due to a reduced viscosity of the hydraulic fluid and a softer extension assist spring.
